With Palau (Island) Sipadan only 30kms off the coast of Sabah (Malysian Borneo), this Island-that sits on top of a volcanic rising spurt from the sea bed, looks just like a speak and a few trees & soft sand beaches. If you have the chance to visit you have to try the drop off. You are probably asking yourself-the drop off-Yes its where the coral reef drop dips vertically into the ocean-and where the seabed is no where to be seen! When snorkeling and rotesting the drop off these pristine reefs with an abundance of marine life eg: turtles display that this is the amazonic yet Shangrila of the ocean. You cannot stay overnight on Palau Sipadan, but want to continue the trend of diving through caves and snorkeling around that reef & drop off, you can stay at Mabul Water Bungalows -on Mabul Island and only 15 mins away..

For women-The first place to breeze into is Dulcetfig-located number 41 Haji Lane-Singapore not only does this place sell cool & hip vintage apparel it also specialises in the handbags and accessories.

For men-The second place to breeze into is Knowitnothing same street but 51 Haji Lane-located in a historic building which buds up the atmosphere with a good selection of mens trendy & urban clothing-dont also forget the accessories eg: shoes if the man needs a new pair.

Recently I stayed at the Sheraton Langkawi. Its a nice & secluded resort like all the other high flying outpost retreats on the Island. With its pleasantly private bays to sun-bake and swim it felt good not to share a beach with more than a few people or none!. Spice Trader restaurant would have to be the most atmospheric dining experience. Not only was the food great with its wonderful blend of Asian Fare, it also felt like being up in a Robinson Crusoe tree house. Make sure if you visit, that you sit on the deck in the Lobby Lounge Bar and view the resident Monkeys. Also keep an eye out for other animals native to the area, such as the tropical birds.
